Summer in the City has something for everyone. There are plenty of events listed on this website.

You can take your friends or family, or attend the activities by yourself, and many are accessible for people with disabilities.

There’s no excuse for a dull day!

It’s a great chance to meet new people and make new friends. Everyone will make you feel welcome and you might find a new hobby you’ll love.

Welcome to Summer in the City 2018

This is your guide to loads of free and low-cost events and activities for children and young people taking place this summer.

Now in its eigth year, Summer in the City is bigger than ever, with a huge variety of events on offer. There are some great things to do across Kensington and Chelsea to keep everyone entertained all summer long. We have some old favourites like GO Golborne’s Party in the Park as well as some great new activities that give you the chance to get in touch with your creative or active side.

Most of the activities are suitable for people with a disability, but always check out the event information for more details. The website will be updated throughout the summer with even more activities which will be open to residents of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, unless otherwise stated.

There is no excuse to stay indoors when there is so much to do in London. Try something new this summer and be sure to tell us all about it by tagging your photos with the hashtag #mysitc.

Most of activities are suitable for people with a disability and most are open to residents of both Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, but please always check with organisers. You can find all the listings taking place over the summer on this website.

In Westminster, we also have the City Save card which offers even more discounts to families so visit citysave.westminster.gov.uk for more information.
